Medina Alert issued after hit-and-run driver kills 14-year-old on bike: Police

DENVER (KDVR) — Thornton police are looking for a suspect after a driver hit and killed a 14-year-old boy riding a motorized bike then fled the scene Saturday night.

The crash happened just before 9:45 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Thornton Parkway and Huron Street, the Thornton Police Department said in a news release.

The boy was riding the bike north on Huron Street when the suspect vehicle, a black 2013 BMW 328i, speeding on the road hit the bike from behind, police said. The driver continued north on Huron and did not stop…
