DENVER (KDVR) — During testimony at a Senate hearing discussing immigration enforcement in Minnesota, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement director claimed local law enforcement leaked the details of a raid in Aurora, but local agencies are denying it.
On Thursday, officials testified before the Senate Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs Committee on immigration enforcement in Minnesota. During the testimony, ICE Director Todd Lyons said they’ve had difficulty with cooperation between ICE and local law enforcement — and one example was in Aurora, Colorado.

About three hours in, Lyons said there isn’t cooperation at the local and state level, and an example was in Aurora when they were trying to serve a criminal warrant on an apartment complex of known Tren De Aragua members. He said protesters were at the location when ICE agents arrived.
While the specific complex isn’t named, Lyons is likely referring to one of the three apartment complexes run by CBZ Management that had ongoing safety issues. An emergency closure order was ultimately issued in February of last year due to an “immediate threat.”…
