Imagine ordering dinner on DoorDash and patiently waiting for your meal to arrive. You wait and wait, then you start to wonder what is going on. Maybe the DoorDash delivery driver got lost, maybe the food took forever to make at the restaurant, or maybe the delivery driver got arrested.
That is exactly what happened to one Colorado DoorDash delivery driver last week. According to the Wheat Ridge Police Department, a driver was pulled over near Wadsworth Boulevard and West 38th Avenue for expired tags.

Upon running the driver’s information, it showed the man had a warrant for arrest. The DoorDash delivery driver was cooperative and was in the middle of a delivery to a nearby customer. However, Wheat Ridge Police officers took the man into custody, and he was taken to jail.
Police Deliver Food to DoorDash Customer
Wheat Ridge Police officers couldn’t let a good meal go to waste, so one of the officers delivered the meal to the DoorDash customer, telling the person who answered the door, “We wanted to make sure you got the food still.”
