DENVER (KDVR) — Colorado ski areas have been struggling to pick up snow this winter, but after a mid-week storm, some mountains saw more than 2 feet of snow.

Colorado hasn’t seen nearly as much snow this winter. This winter is on track to be one of the hottest in Denver history, and in the mountains, conditions haven’t been much better. Some resorts delayed their opening days due to a lack of snow, and by late December, hundreds of trails were still closed.

However, a snowstorm this week left snow at almost every ski area in the state.
