DENVER (KDVR) — Colorado finally saw some serious snow after a warmer-than-usual winter, with some areas across the state recording a few feet of snow in one week.
Colorado ski areas have been struggling with the lack of snow, with some even pushing back their opening days to wait for more snow. This winter still hasn’t recorded as much as usual, but by mid-February, some areas across the state received some much-needed snow.

Denver only saw some flakes fly throughout the week, with nothing recordable on the ground, but other areas recorded almost 4 feet of snow.
How much snow fell in one week?
Here’s where the most snow fell from Sunday, Feb. 15, through Sunday, Feb. 22, according to Iowa State University’s local storm report:
Wolf Creek Pass in Pueblo County saw the most snow with 44 inches, nearly 4 feet, throughout the week. Meanwhile, areas like Crested Butte, Cameron Pass and Rabbit Ears Pass saw over a foot of snow. This snowfall brought a good amount of snow to the ski resorts, but snow totals are still low this winter.
