Man arrested after woman rear-ended, robbed at gunpoint in Aurora

DENVER (KDVR) — A man was arrested in a police chase after police said he intentionally rear-ended a vehicle, then allegedly robbed a woman at gunpoint.

On Monday, the Aurora Police Department said Cesar Martinez-Perez, 22, allegedly rear-ended a woman in her vehicle intentionally, then, when she got out to address the crash, police said he robbed her at gunpoint and fled the scene.

On Tuesday morning, just a few hours later, police saw Martinez-Perez near East Colfax Avenue and North Potomac Street. This is in the area of the UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital.
