Man arrested for cattle fraud scheme across multiple states, including Colorado

DENVER (KDVR) — A man was arrested at the Los Angeles International Airport on Monday for his role in a cattle contract fraud scheme that spanned across multiple states, including Colorado, according to a post on X from the FBI Denver Field Office.

Joshua Robert Link and several co-conspirators established Agridime, LLC., and solicited contracts from cattle buyers across the United States. The FBI reported that the states that Link has ties to include:

  • Kansas
  • Missouri
  • Illinois
  • Arkansas
  • Colorado
  • Arizona

Investigators determined that Agridime would purchase, care for and feed cattle before they were processed. The meat was then sold through the company’s distribution channels. Agridime reportedly offered investment returns from 15% to 32% to prospective contract buyers.
