DENVER (KDVR) — Police in the city of Arvada are seeking potential victims after a 25-year-old Pennsylvania man was arrested in connection with an Arvada Police Department sextortion investigation.
APD said the man, identified as David Ajiri of Bensalem, Pennsylvania, self-surrendered at the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office on March 9, after an arrest warrant was obtained by Arvada police detectives.

Ajiri was booked on one count of criminal extortion, according to APD, which said it believes he was using dating apps, friendship apps and social media platforms to contact and target women and girls as young as 14 years old across the country since at least 2018.
Police said Ajiri convinced victims to send intimate images or videos in exchange for payment, and, after not paying them and being confronted, would threaten to send their intimate images or videos to friends, family members, or social media contacts unless they continued to provide sexual content, money, or both…
