19-year-old arrested after woman shot while sitting at Aurora bus stop

DENVER (KDVR) — A 19-year-old man is facing attempted first-degree murder after police said a vehicle pulled up and a suspect opened fire at a woman who was sitting at an Aurora bus stop on March 15.

The Aurora Police Department arrested Winston Ical-Xol, 19, on Thursday after hundreds of tips ultimately led them to the suspect. This comes after police asked for tips on a drive-by shooting where a woman was shot in the leg.

On March 15, just after 5:30 a.m., police said officers responded to the 9600 block of East Colfax Avenue, a block away from Aurora City Park. A woman who was sitting at a bus stop was shot in the leg after police said a vehicle pulled up and opened fire.
