The Denver Water Board has declared a Stage 1 drought, effective March 25, 2026 through April 30, 2027, to cut water use by 20%. This affects all Bancroft-Clover Water and Sanitation District customers in southeastern Lakewood and unincorporated Jefferson County.
Outdoor watering limits:
- Single-family homes: even addresses – Sunday & Thursday; odd addresses – Wednesday & Saturday.
- All other properties: Tuesdays & Fridays only.
Summer watering rules:
- Water only 6 p.m.–10 a.m.
- Fix leaks within 10 days
- Don’t water during rain or high winds
- Use a shut-off nozzle when washing cars
