AURORA, Colo. — Cimarron Elementary School temporarily went into secure status Tuesday out of an abundance of caution after a report of a suspicious person with a possible weapon nearby. All students and staff remained safe during the situation.
The school at 17373 E. Lehigh Place sent a message to the community at 2:32 p.m., assuring parents that all students and staff were safe and secure.
