Denver weather: Another dry and breezy day Friday

DENVER (KDVR) — Although it’ll be staying dry and breezy Friday, the Denver weather forecast still features several opportunities for extremely beneficial rainfall starting this weekend and continuing through next week.

Until then, another fire weather warning will be in effect for Friday until 8 p.m. for eastern Colorado. As usual, please be careful with anything flammable outside.

Winds will ease up a bit overnight Thursday with clearing skies. Temperatures will fall into the middle and upper 30s, which is seasonal for late April. No moisture is expected.

Denver weather tomorrow: Warmer and breezy

Afternoon temperatures will rebound back into the lower 70s on Friday afternoon. Skies will be sunny most of the day, but should increase a bit in the late afternoon. Winds start from the south and then turn westerly at around 10-20 miles per hour.

Looking ahead: Wetter weather on the way

Saturday will be partly sunny and cooler in the lower 60s. Winds will come from the east with gusts up to 25 miles per hour. Thankfully, fire weather conditions are not expected given higher humidity and the possibility of isolated rain showers late in the afternoon.

Rain chances will be greater on Sunday, and a few rumbles of thunder may even be heard. Rain looks to start in the metro in the mid-afternoon and continue into sunset before becoming drier overnight. More rain showers will be possible on Monday. Tuesday looks relatively dry before more opportunities for rain arrive for the middle of next week…
