WINTERSET, Iowa– The Madison County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to meet for its regular session at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, with ongoing disputes expected to take center stage.
The meeting comes just days after State Auditor Rob Sand announced that Madison County’s financial records for fiscal years 2023 and 2024 could not be verified. It also comes as County Auditor Michele Brant continues her legal challenge against Supervisors Heather Stancil and Jessica Hobbs after they voted to restructure her office.
