DES MOINES, Iowa – Cities across the Des Moines metro are considering stricter regulations on e-bikes and e-scooters as emergency room visits tied to the devices continue to rise.
According to UnityPoint Health, their emergency rooms saw a record-high 38 patients in May alone for e-bike and e-scooter-related injuries.
