We will have a few passing clouds through late afternoon and evening. Winds will be light.
Tuesday starts dry with partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. There will be a few showers and thunderstorms at times in western Iowa. Some of these may brush central Iowa. Rainfall amounts will generally be less than .20″. No severe thunderstorms are expected.
Temperatures will stay below average through the workweek and finally go above average by Sunday, with steamy 90s.
