ANKENY, Iowa (WOI) – The Ankeny community is helping a business recover from a double tragedy, WOI reports.
Steve Nolte’s business, Nolte and Sons Lawn and Irrigation, experienced both a flood and fire on the same day.
Flash flooding earlier this month prevented fire trucks from getting to the building. Crews had to wait 13 hours for high waters to go down before they could reach the building. By then, the fire burned the building to the ground…
