DES MOINES, Iowa (KCCI) – Thousands of Iowa State Fairgoers took part in a giant pizza party Sunday to try and break a world record, KCCI reports.
Maverik prepared nearly 900 pizzas to attempt the record for the largest pizza party.
The Guinness World Record is most recently held by the Taste of New Haven, who served 4,525 people on September 12, 2025. New Haven, Connecticut, is recognized as the “Pizza Capital of the United States.”…
