DES MOINES, Iowa — The Des Moines Police Department is investigating after two people were injured in a shooting in the Highland Park/Oak Park neighborhood on Sunday night.
Police officers were called to the 100 block of E. Euclid Avenue around 10:00 p.m., according to DMPD Public Information Officer Sgt. Paul Parizek. That’s where the Park Fair Mall is located. Sgt. Parizek said the injuries suffered by the two victims are not life-threatening.

The potential suspect in the shooting, reported to be a Black male, was no longer on the scene when police arrived, said Sgt. Parizek. No arrests have been made in the case.
