ANKENY, Iowa — Two Ankeny fourth graders are among 44 Iowa students selected for a national program designed to develop some of the country’s most promising young math students.
Andrew Reiter of Northeast Elementary and Jameson Sander of Westwood Elementary were named to the 2026 class of National Math Stars, a 10-year program that provides students with advanced math opportunities, mentoring and other support through high school.
