A Davenport man has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty in a Warren County domestic abuse case.
According to court records, 21-year-old Joseph Lee Gilligan was sentenced last Wednesday after pleading guilty in July to domestic abuse assault involving strangulation with bodily injury, a Class D felony, and third-degree criminal mischief, an aggravated misdemeanor.
Gilligan was sentenced to up to five years in prison on the domestic abuse charge and up to two years on the criminal mischief charge. Gilligan was ordered into the custody of the Iowa Department of Corrections…
