DES MOINES, Iowa (KCRG) – A memorial honoring about 100 service members killed in the Middle East since 9/11 could be replaced with portraits of past governors.
The announcement came at a regular quarterly Iowa Commission of Veterans Affairs meeting. The state says there might be some miscommunication surrounding the plans, though the plans are specifically stated in the Quartermaster’s plans.
