DES MOINES, Iowa (KCCI) – Hundreds of Iowans who have experienced food insecurity firsthand gathered in Des Moines to take part in the first Iowa Food Security Forum at the Iowa Events Center, KCCI reports.
The goal was simple: give the people who use food assistance programs a direct say in how those programs can improve.
