DES MOINES, Iowa – Fire crews responded to a metro Taco John’s early Friday morning after a maintenance worker’s van caught fire.
It happened at 2727 Southwest 9th Street around 3:00 a.m. Workers were doing maintenance on the building’s roof when the fire started.
Firefighters were able to rescue the workers, and crews from Fire Station 6 extinguished the flames.
An investigation into what caused the fire is underway.
