DES MOINES, Iowa – An Iowa woman was arrested Friday morning after driving the wrong way on the interstate, leading to a head-on crash. Des Moines police and fire personnel responded at approximately 5:33 a.m. Friday to reports of a three-vehicle crash at the 1500 block of Interstate 235. Police say evidence showed that Madilyn Van Pelt, 20, of Grand Junction, entered I-235 by driving westbound on the eastbound exit ramp.
