DES MOINES, IOWA — A pair of thieves had a unique target on Monday morning in Des Moines. Police say the two armed men robbed the Eyeglass World store on SE 14th Street, stealing eyeglass frames from the store shelves but not taking any money.
The men, wearing hoodies and masks and armed with handguns, entered the store around 10:30 am. After grabbing merchandise, the men left the scene in separate vehicles. No arrests have been made and the case remains under investigation.
