JOHNSTON, Iowa – Johnston police are investigating after gunshots were reported Monday night. According to a news release from the Johnston Police Department, officers responded shortly after 8:30 p.m. Monday to multiple reports of shots fired near townhomes on Daniel Defoe Drive. Officers confirmed “an incident involving a firearm had taken place,” but no injuries were reported.
