Restaurants open all the time in the Des Moines metro, with new options ranging from quick casual to full sit-down experiences with weekend breakfasts or brunches. A new batch of restaurants arrived through the end of 2023, bringing new experiences to the area. Now you can dig into German dishes, steak de Burgo, oysters, or sports bar fare, or grab a book and try one of two new coffeeshops in the metro. Ankeny sees expansions of Mullets, Club Car and the Breakfast Club, while West Des Moines lands three new places to try. And some of them even offer happy hours as well.
