Did you know… where this photo was taken? This is the Midway at the Tri-County Fairgrounds. Tri-County was located at the far south end of 2nd Street, near McKee RV today. The fairgrounds opened in 1920 and closed in 1933. It had a grandstand that held 2,500 people. Most buildings built for the fair were torn down, but one was used as Hanlon skating rink for many years.
