DES MOINES, Iowa — A collaboration of different organizations in the metro will unveil their plan Tuesday to help reduce food insecurity.
The United Way of Central Iowa and the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines are holding a discussion where they will announce their community-wide food insecurity reduction plan. It will address the issues that limit access to equitable opportunities.

Representatives from metro food pantries will also take part in the event.
