Ankeny, IA) — No one was hurt after a fire at an Ankeny restaurant early this morning. The Ankeny Police and Fire Departments received reports of the fire at the Popeye’s Chicken on North Ankeny Boulevard around 1am. The Ankeny Fire Department reported heavy smoke throughout the building but was able to extinguish the fire.
