The 2024 Drake Relays schedule concludes with a busy Saturday as Iowa’s best high school track and field athletes gather in Des Moines to compete against top competition for three days.

11:12 a.m. – Ankeny wins 4×800 boys relay
The Ankeny boys 4×800 relay team of Nicholas Robie, Ike Smith, Jake Bosch and Ethan Zuber won with a time of 7:39.54 minutes.
Dowling Catholic’s team of Owen Wolfe, Jack Flori, Josh Mohan and Max DeRocher placed second with a time of 7:43.16.
Cedar Falls’ squad of Brennen Hoyer, Ahmed Aldamak, Charlie Wiering and Connor Martin finished third with a time of 7:44.24.
11 a.m. – Pleasant Valley wins 4×800 girls relay
The Pleasant Valley girls 4×800 relay team of Ani Wedemeyer, Aerielle Johnson, Kaylee Mowen and Grace Boleyn won with a time of 9:01.47 minutes, dominating the rest of the field.
DC-Grimes’ team of Maddy stevens, Piper Messerly, Tess Meggison and Maddie Schmitz placed second with a time of 9:14.68.
