DES MOINES, Iowa – A motorcyclist is dead after a Friday night crash in south Des Moines, according to the Des Moines Police Department. Police say multiple onlookers called in about a crash between a motorcycle and small SUV around 8:15 p.m. on Friday. According to witness accounts, the two vehicles collided in the intersection of SW 9th Street and Payton Avenue.
