Water still a concern in Osceola despite rise in West Lake water level

At around 3:30 p.m. emergency crews responded to a report of a boat crash at the Saylorville Marina. A park ranger on scene told WHO 13 that the person driving the pontoon boat accidently crashed into the dock. The impact from the collision caused one person on the back of the pontoon to be tossed into the water. The driver panicked and backed up, causing the propeller on the boat’s motor to hit the person in the water, the park ranger said.

The victim was transported to a hospital and their condition is unknown at this time.
