The governors of Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota and South Dakota all issued emergency declarations as recent heavy rains flooded rivers throughout the region. Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers declared a state of emergency for Wisconsin due to not just rain, but also hail, strong winds, thunderstorms and tornadoes. Several rounds of storms occurred from June 21 to June 25.
