DES MOINES, Iowa – The family of a Des Moines woman reportedly kidnapped in Mexico continues to hold out hope that their beloved mother and grandmother will be found. Chris Leguisano, 51, left Des Moines on Aug. 8 with another family member to deliver a truck full of belongings to her brother-in-law in Mexico. Her family says she checked in with them to say she made it to Mexico, but they haven’t heard from her since.
