Participants for Leadership Iowa program announced

The Iowa Association of Business and Industry Foundation has announced the class of 40 Iowa leaders who will participate in its 2024-25 Leadership Iowa issues-awareness program. Leadership Iowa began in 1982, with participants coming from all over the state and including a variety of jobs and backgrounds, according to a news release. Two-day sessions each month will cover a variety of topics. For this year’s program, beginning in October, participants will meet in Algona, Shenandoah, Clarinda, Ottumwa, Des Moines, Clinton, Sioux Center and Cedar Rapids before graduating in June at ABI’s conference in Council Bluffs. Topics include agriculture, economic development, government, manufacturing, education and public safety. The class list is here.
