Three people were injured, including two Lacona residents, in a crash that occurred in Warren County Friday evening. The Iowa State Patrol reports a Ford Fusion driven by 22-year-old Finnegan Ritchie of Traverse City, Michigan was eastbound U.S. 65/County Highway G-58 and attempted to turn northbound onto 160th Avenue. Police say Ritchie failed to yield to a motorcycle operated by 34-year-old Levi Woldt traveling westbound on the highway. He and his passenger Shelby Wambold were ejected from the Harley Davidson due to the impact of the collison. Both were transported via helicopter to Mercy in Des Moines. Ritchie was also injured, as the motorcycle collided into the driver’s side, and was transported to Mercy by Milo EMS.
