Security footage captures alleged shooter before and after Ingersoll shooting

DES MOINES, Iowa — Four people were injured in a shooting last Friday evening on Ingersoll Avenue.

This area is full of local businesses, and at that time on a Friday, packed with people enjoying the early fall weather.

Home a total loss after early morning fire in Polk County

Sammy Mila, the owner of Crème Bakery, was working during the shooting. Her and her employees are fine along with others in the surrounding businesses. But Mila is still shaken up about what could have happened with the crowds of people around.

Mila’s landlord has security video footage of the alleged shooter as he walks by the bakery windows, kneeling behind cars. He walks out of the frame and gunshots are heard, then the individual sprints by the bakery and down an alleyway.
