Up to $50,000 available for homeowners in 28 counties affected by disasters

DES MOINES, Iowa – Homeowners can apply for up to $50,000 to repair or rehabilitate their disaster-impacted home through the Disaster Recovery Housing Assistance Program (DRHAP). The Iowa Finance Authority announced Friday that the deadline to apply is Nov. 20, 2024. Governor Reynolds allocated $15 million to the program.
