Yield tests highlight options in battle against nematodes

Iowa State University Extension professor and researcher Greg Tylka has been studying the performance of soybean cyst nematode-resistant soybeans for decades, helping farmers understand their options and how the resistant varieties perform.

“We started in the ‘90s,” he says. “In our current arrangement, we’ve had an experiment in each of Iowa’s crop reporting districts since 2000.”
