An athlete that attends Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School, and is on the Raccoon River Wrestling Team speaks on ways she’s growing as an individual from the sport.
ADM senior Reese Baxter is in her final year of wrestling with the four schools of ADM, Van Meter, Waukee, and Waukee Northwest, that make up RRW. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that she worked heavily on strength and her mentality in the offseason. Baxter’s main takeaway from wrestling is that it’s teaching her about always responding to adversity.
