DES MOINES, Iowa — The City of Des Moines is inviting residents to take part in a scavenger hunt it has hosted for the third consecutive year.
The grand prize is a five-to-seven-foot tall tree from the Des Moines Forestry Division’s list of recommended tree species to be planted in the city in a location of the winner’s choosing, including on their own private property, with division approval.
