A Florida-based owner-operator of manufactured housing communities has acquired a mobile home park on Des Moines’ south side, Polk County real estate records show.
Maplewood Communities, doing business as Southland MHP LLC, paid Southland Mobile Home Park LLC $5.3 million for property at 5300 S.E. First Court, records show. Maplewood Communities is based in Boca Raton, Fla.
The property, known as Southland Park, was developed in 1972 and includes about 20 acres with 90 lots for manufactured homes. The property is valued at just over $2 million.
