JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — An Iowa man has been arrested in Jefferson County after he allegedly busted out six windows of a home trying to get in.
Clint Curtis, 52, of Des Moines was arrested after officers were called to a home in Reynoldsville for a report of a man trying to break in. On Jan. 29, officers with the Pennsylvania State Police were called by a woman reporting that she and her kids were upstairs hiding after a man started smashing windows of their home.
Troopers arrived on scene a short time later, but the suspect had fled from the scene. Officers noted that six windows had been broken with a garden hoe that they found at the scene. According to the affidavit, they also found footprints in the snow by the windows and were able to determine that the prints belonged to a Louis Vuitton shoe.

Officers were then contacted about a man whose car was stuck in the driveway just half a mile away from the attempted burglary. Police arrived on scene and found Curtis in the driver’s seat. He was determined to be wearing the shoes that left the snow prints found at the crime scene and was arrested…
