A section of Hickman Road near Merle Hay Mall in Des Moines is closed after high winds pushed power poles loose on Friday.
Hickman Road from 53rd Street to 56th Street is closed to allow MidAmerican Energy to repair multiple power poles that were knocked loose due to high winds, according to a news release from the Des Moines Police Department.
