Friday fire leaves Indianola house ‘uninhabitable,’ 2 dogs rescued

INDIANOLA, Iowa — A Friday afternoon fire in Indianola has left a home in an unlivable state, the fire city’s department said.

Crews from Indianola and Norwalk’s fire departments were dispatched to the blaze at 202 S. P St. in Indianola shortly before 11:30 a.m. Friday after a passerby reported the blaze.
