Warren County commuters traveling south may have to use a detour this summer. According to the Iowa DOT, the US 65 bridge 1.6 miles south of Warren County G-58 will be under construction and replaced during the summer months.
While the road is closed you will be detoured around the work zone with a marked detour route that uses U.S. 65 and Warren County G-76. The Iowa DOT reminds motorists to drive with caution, obey the posted speed limit and other signs in the work area, and be aware that traffic fines for moving violations are at least double in work zones.
