On Sunday night a small plane crashed near the Husband Field Airport in Dallas Center that resulted in no injuries.
According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred at 7:15pm as the Ultralight airplane was attempting to land at the airport, and the pilot, Jerald Deimerly of Indianola, was uninjured in the crash. The Sheriff’s Office says the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
