DES MOINES, Iowa — For the fourth year in a row, Iowans can enjoy a quiet and welcoming space at the Iowa State Fair.
Created for those with autism or sensory-processing disorders, the sensory-friendly morning event is Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The fair created the annual event in partnership with ChildServe, Drake University and IAble.
