CLIVE, Iowa — Westside Auto Pros almost had to close on Wednesday due to the overnight storms. The shop had initially announced on Facebook it would close at 11 a.m., but owner Joe Jerkins reversed course when Walnut Creek water levels receded.
Being located right by the creek, Jerkins is used to water levels rising.
